Stepping inside felt like a real escape, so much character and warmth here. The lighting is low and the walls are filled with interesting things to look at. We settled into a little corner booth and just watched the world go by. Everything brought to the table was lovely, and the rich aroma of fresh baking just adds to the unique, comfortable vibe. A truly special place in Subiaco.

I had the $11 vegetable tart (zucchini, mushroom, capsicum, cream egg mix) Light and fluffy mix, the veg were nice but not very well distributed across the layers. $6 savoury muffin (corn relish, feta, sundried tomato, spinach) not super "scone" like, more a muffin (YAY) slightly salty, Beautiful colours to it, warmed, Shakshuka was super bright and frangrant. Cute spot, lots of seating options, nice staff, lots of issues with delivering to right tables tho....

This was my second time here and Shasuka is the best I have in Perth. Only few places serve good Shasuka and this place is one of it also the other food we got was soo good. Coffee was nice but my Matcha was okay ish but no complain Excellent service by the girls

I tried the Birria Brisket Benedict and it was absolutely delicious! It was my first time trying this dish and I was blown away by the flavor and texture. The meat is just outstanding — truly a showstopper! Highly recommended!

Edit July 2025: another visit. Another great lunch. Our first visit to Boucla. Everything was delicious. Great strong latté. Mrs C reports that the hot chocolate was very good. With extra chocolate buttons to add. She loved her scrambled eggs and I thoroughly enjoyed the Shakshuka. With the chorizo. Highly recommended.

Such yummy food. I spent my birthday here on the public holiday and wasn’t disappointed. We had a little outside table in the sun. It was hard to choose what to eat as all the items on the menu looked amazing. I had the zucchini fritters with the potatoes. Food portions were generous and we were all full as a goog when we left. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

I go here a lot and that says something. Breakfast is very good, and their Turkish Eggs are outstanding. My partner typically gets the avocado breakfast, and sometimes we mix in their eggs bennie. No matter what you get, I think you will like it

Had Brisket Benedict with iced coffee. Both were amazing. Sat alfresco in the street.
